The YES Optimistic was probably the only other Directional Twin shape that did better in powder but that was only because it had a bigger set back. I thought about trying the 153 but the max stance width is 22.1 so I couldnt even get to my minimum 22.5 stance width for that board. I think the thing that I like most was how stable it was at high speed on every surface, and how it boogied around trees. It also made the Jones Mountain Twin and Ultra Mountain Twin feel like a fast turner and thats not a fast turning board. Sizing: The sweet spot on the 156 seems like its closer to a size 10-11 boot.
